regann | Well it's February

January is always a tough month for me. It's right after the holidays, so there is a lot of residual angst floating around from that and then work is weird, and the weather is usually awful. And, now, I've added going back to school to the stressful things that happen in January. Given that the holidays were particularly rough this year, I've been looking forward to February and the inevitable evening out of things for a while.

So, now it's February. I'm not sure if I'm feeling better yet or not. I am really busy between work and school and trying to write; I just finished getting my bathroom fixed up, so that's been a mess, and things have just been up in the air. I'm hoping this weekend I can actually get some shit done instead of spending it vegging out on the sofa watching old OLTL clips on YouTube. (In case you guys wondered what my weekends have been looking like. Ha!)

I am 85% certain that I will be completely finished with the fic I've been working on by Monday, as I only have a chapter to go and I'm fairly certain of what needs to happen in it. It's the one I mentioned before, the XMFC Charles/Erik Space AU. It should top off at roughly 40,000 words and it's the first of a trilogy. I'm still debating on the how/when/if of posting but I've already planned out the next two fics in the series, so yay. (Maybe...)

I'm just going to be glad it's Friday and that my afternoon tomorrow is going to be dedicated to getting deliciously buzzed at a local wine tasting. XD
