plea for help (lol)

So I have 10,000 words of a XMFC Charles/Erik fic that I am not sure what the hell I'm doing with (modern, powers, au). Anyone interested in looking at these 10,000 words and giving me their thoughts on what's working and what isn't? I have some thoughts of my own on this but am interested in other people's opinions.
